And experience Snow Hill's historic charm and the beauty that comes with 55,000 acres of protected land pierced by the Pocomoke River. A three-hour drive from Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Baltimore, 30 minutes from Ocean City, Maryland, and 40 minutes from Chincoteague, Virginia.

And have a bite to eat or a cup of coffee.  Or sit by the Pocomoke River and unwind. Visit our history museums, shops and artist studios. Stay the night at one of our three quaint B&Bs. Or just sit and relax by the water, enjoying all the natural sounds that the area has to offer.

And enjoy the with trails for hiking, road cycling, mountain biking and horse-back riding. We cater to fishermen and birders   with more than 150 species tallied. We maintain boat launches for powerboats and paddlers through ancient Cypress; and a Certified Heritage Area and a Scenic Byway.
